God Has Not Given Us a Spirit of Fear

I found myself singing the words of this song, "God has not given us the spirit of fear, but the Lord has given us power."  That was an oldie but goodie that I hadn't even thought about in a long time but I guess with the recent events happening in our world today -- protests, riots, and such -- it is so fitting.



Don’t be afraid. Fear is not of God. Even while you’re going through, know that God has already gone ahead of you and He has made the way of escape for you. You will come through this! It may not look like it or even feel like it, but you have the victory because your Heavenly Father already fought your battle in the spirit and He won! So you are winning today even in the midst of it all. You do have power because of the One who lives in you.

Healing Journeys

Proverbs 23:7 says "For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he." No matter what sickness or disease you're dealing with, I am praying that God will keep your mind strong so that your faith in Him will be strong. You can use your words to change your situation. Start confessing everyday that sickness and disease cannot survive in your body because you are full of God's light and power and it's not His best for you. I love Isaiah 53:5 (KJV): But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
